I'm a huge fan of Xena, and when I first started drawing more seriously, most of what I drew was Xena-related. That was a while ago now, and it was really fun to go back and try my hand at a new pic of Gabby. Her face can be tricky to do right, but I'm pleased with the result. This is graphite on A4, took about 15 hours or so to do, and it was the first time I tried using a mechanical pencil. Lots of fun.

I think the graphite worked better than charcoal would have, and I like how it all worked out.
